Jodi York is a sociologist with a diverse interdisciplinary research history and a passion for driving and informing social change with measurable impact. She works with mission-driven capital providers and enterprises around the globe to better understand key success factors in their strategies, organisational cultures, business models, impact management and communications.
She has Ph.D. in sociology from the University of California, Berkeley and is also a research fellow at the University of Melbourne's Asia Pacific Social Impact Centre. She has published qualitative and quantitative research in sociology, economics, accounting and management. Currently based in Melbourne, Jodi has worked in business, academic, government and civil society settings in the US and across Australasia.

Krzysztof Dembek is a researcher with multidisciplinary work and research experience in strategy, leadership, entrepreneurship, intercultural communication competence and the performance of politicians.
Prior to becoming a researcher, Krzysztof held several leadership positions in European companies. Employing both qualitative and quantitative methodologies, he specialises in the use of strategy and business models for creation of social, economic and environmental value for multiple stakeholders and maximising positive socio-environmental impact of organisations. Krzysztof conducts an important part of his research in developing countries, and his current work extends to the fields of shared value and bottom of the pyramid.
Krzysztof is passionate about solving complex problems and bridging the research/practice gap. He co-designed a design-thinking-based methodology for maximising the practical impact of research. Krzysztof also serves as Director of Industry Engagement at the Academy of Management Practice Theme Committee.
Rachel Dodd, Associate
Rachel Dodd holds a Masters in Social Entrepreneurship from Hult International Business School in San Francisco. Rachel graduated with distinction from this innovative business program built around experiential learning practices in the heart of Silicon Valley. Her expertise falls in innovation practices, inbound marketing strategies, and entrepreneurship.
She has held leadership positions in a technology startup, an educational startup, and an education organization. She utilized design thinking processes to successfully develop and implement new revenue generation services, co-authored a methodology for impact measurement as the focal point of a tactical inbound marketing strategy, and contributed to the construction of business models from the ground up that are still in operation today.

Rhiannon Davies, Research and Communications Assistant
Rhiannon is a communications specialist based in Wellington, New Zealand with a penchant for social science research. She holds a Bachelor of Communications from Massey University in Linguistics and Marketing, and is passionate about social change and language's part in it. Her research has led her into several interesting projects, including analysing propaganda written by the Islamic State, and studying the effects of neoliberalism on modern universities.
